An Edwardian silver pedestal sugar basket with swing handle and blue glass liner, the oval pierced form further decorated with husk swags, below a beaded rim and raised upon a conforming oval stepped base. Hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London, 1902. Height excluding handle, 3.5 (9cm), weight excluding glass liner, 4.7 ozt (145.5 grams). Basket with surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with use.Small hole to underside of pedestal foot.Hallmark and maker's mark clear and legible on basket, but significantly rubbed on swing handle. Glass liner has visible repairs to one end. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
