Commentariorum rerum urbanorum liber primus bis octo et triginta libri. 18. with 8 woodcuts in text. 18 sheets, DXLVII (without CCCXXXVI-CCCXLI, continuously alternating wrong pagination). 12 sheets folio. (Rome, Johannes Besicken, 1506) Wooden cover band at present (somewhat bumped, corners neatly restored) with pig dr. spine, cover with broad with stroking lines and branded stamp in a circle (printer's mark (on the left an animal in the coat of arms, lion or dragon, on the right the angled hook with the three stars, above it the date "1525"), above it remains of the author's name "Volater(ano)" applied with black ink in a gothic style. (joints partly slightly fragile, cover of frets as well, few older repairs), 1 (of 2) brass clasps and cut title as well as gilt RS shield of the 18th century.
