This ritual doll is a representation of the Kachina Tasap, characterized by its hairstyle, its war marks on the cheeks and the red color, associated with the Navajo people among the Hopi.
The idea behind the Kachina Tasap dance is to bring some of the Navajo's warrior power to the entire Hopi village and to strengthen the character of its inhabitants.
