In 1880, Lucien Falize joined forces with Bapst, a supplier to the Court, and founded Bapst & Falize. In 1892, Germain Bapst ceased his activities and André Falize (1872-1936) succeeded his father at the head of the company. With the help of his brothers Jean and Pierre Falize, he kept the company going under the name Falize Frères until 1935.
