Each torch of this pair rests on a moulded circular base decorated with two friezes of pearls. The umbilicus decorated with gadroons and foliage precedes a pearl knot supporting a fluted shaft and a shoulder decorated with medallions and garlands. The bobeche, patterned with foliage and twisted flutes completes the ensemble.
