PAIR OF TWO-LED BRONZE Gilt bronze sconces H. 58 cm, W. 32 cm The embodiment of rocaille art, this pair of two-light arm sconces displays an organic décor of shredded leaves. The quality of the chasing as well as the lightness of the whole recalls the productions of the best artists of the time, such as the silver candelabrum designed by Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier (1695-1750) and cast by Claude Duvivier (1688-1747) around 1734-.
