The Princess of ESSLING informs Mrs. Feray that the Empress has accepted her resignation but assures her of her benevolence... January 3 [1855]. Colonel [and future general] Émile-Félix FLEURY, the Emperor's aide-de-camp, gives advice to Mme Feray so that her mother, the marshal, can be received by the Emperor to talk about "the comedy that was played to make her daughter lose the Empress' benevolence"...
