oil on canvas, cm 125x100 within a gilded frame, The work appears as an example of the "Portrait of a Gentlewoman" by Parrasio Micheli or Michiel, now admirable at the Gallery of Palazzo Rosso (Genoa). The Venetian painter, after an initial apprenticeship at Titian's workshop, later approached Paolo Veronese's more affectionate ways, experiencing his skills as a skilled portraitist. The "Portrait of a Lady", traditionally referred to Paris Bordon, was later returned to his catalogue and dated around 1565.
