cm 115x79., Rare evidence of eighteenth-century furniture with silver harness, the mirror, dating back to the third quarter of the eighteenth century, until today unpublished, becomes part of the small group of furniture accessories of Genoese cabinet-making elegantly adorned with precious applications in embossed silver and finely chiselled with the motifs characterizing the Rococo silverware as the genovesissime "pellacce". In the vast bibliographic repertoire dedicated to Genoese silverware we find documented small mirrors and small wooden frames with silver decorations of the eighteenth century where ours is unique in size, representing an ideal and significant synthesis between the work of cabinetmaking and silver work of the eighteenth century Genoese.
