Broken into two fragments and reassembled during restoration; some chipping The large royal plate, moulded, presents the brim shaped with shell reliefs. In the large cavetto there is an idyllic family scene: a mother with two little children and a jumping dog are intent on listening to a pipe player, in a landscape with a mountain and clouds in the background, insects and semis in flight among leafy tufts. The latter secondary motifs, usual in the Savona repertoire "a tapezzeria", are partly taken from Chinese porcelain, such as plant elements, circular rocks and new ones.
