Morgen Chijumani Dance Style Springstone Signed 101cm high by 58cm wide by 33cm deep VIEW 360 IMAGE HERE Born in 1974 in Mutare, Zimbabwe, Morgan Chijumani is a self taught sculptor, inspired by his father who carved in wood. Group exhibitions include 2002 - Spirits in stone, Germany along with Mike Munyaradzi, Dominic Benhura and others 2003- In Praise of Women touring Oxford and London, Copenhagen and Uppsala also featuring Agnes Nyanhongo and Colleen Madamombe. Guruve annual exhibitions London also featuring Nesbert Mukomberanwa and Locardia Ndandarika, Wereldbeeld (World View), Nieuwkerken Belgium. 2004- Red Eagle Gallery, Portland, Oregon, USA, African art promotion, Wageningen, Netherlands. 2005- Fossati Gallery, Aix en Provence, Guruve annual exhibition London, with Richard Muteki and others, Love Everlasting Kofa International Art, Oakland, California, USA. 2006-In Praise of Women touring Copenhage , Stockholm, Toronto and London, also featuring Locardia Ndandarika and Dominic Benhura. 2007- Third prize in the 10 years of achievements competition and exhibition in Chitungwiza Arts Centre Zimbabwe. Morgan was a finalist in the African Millennium Foundations young sculptor of the year 2006 competition. He was also selected to sculpt the trophies for the 2007 UN EQUATOR INITIATIVE AWARDS. 2009 Exhibition in Zhang Jia Jie, China
