Alesia - Study on Caesar's seventh campaign in Gaul. In-8°, midnight blue morocco, first plate decorated with the arms of the Duke of Aumale, the second with his number, decorated ribbed back, title coin and fleur-de-lys, inner lace and gilt edges. Engraved portrait in frontispiece and folding card. Enriched with an autograph letter from the author to Eugène de Lanneau and two L.A.S. from the author to the same. In-12, dark blue morocco, first plate decorated with the arms of the Duc d'Aumale, the second with his number, back with nerves decorated, title coin and fleur-de-lys, interior lace (Trautz-Bauzonnet). Ex-dono manuscript "Donated by H.R.H. the Duke of Aumale to Eugène de Lanneau. December 1855" and enriched with an L.A.S. of the author to the same. Together 2 volumes and 3 autographs.
