ANDRE GROULT (1884-1967) Bookcase in ceruse natural oak, the sides are carved "en plein bois" with a semi of pastilles and a horned imp's masquerade with pointed ears, on arched and gadrooned feet, 1948 Signed and dated on the plate " ANDRE GROULT PARIS IN USINVENITET SCULP SITAN NO MCMXLVIII " Cracks, wear, stains and small lacks Rudged front feet, one of the hind feet rudented, one crossbar of the lower shelf changed Height : 109 cm - Length: 160 cm - Depth: 22 cm History: sculpted by André Groult himself to be presented at the Autumn Salon in Paris.
