La Petite Danseuse de 14 ans is a wax sculpture presented by Edgar Degas at the 1881 Independents' Exhibition.
The Degas Committee contractually authorized its reduction to a height of nearly 70 cm for 38 individually stamped bronzes as follows:
26 bronzes marked with the letters of the alphabet from A to Z.
9 bronzes marked from I/IX to IX/IX.
1 bronze marked "HEIR" for the Degas Committee.
2 bronzes marked HC1/2 and HC2/2.
A certificate from the Edgar Degas Committee of December 2018 bearing the bronze with the letter "D" will be given to the purchaser.
