Alderman, Baltimore, acquired from the latter, 1964 Ancient Art of the New World, Miami, acquired from the latter, January 30, 2011 The Fiore Arts Collection, North America, acquired from the latter Boston EXHIBITION, Museum of Fine Arts, loan, August 2011 - 2019 MAYAN STONE HACHA The impressive profle of a stylized human head with deeply recessed circular eyes, heavy ridged eyebrows, lips drawn back, scrollwork ears, and tall domed, pierced, forehead; the recessed areas flled with dark red pigment and with Maya blue for highlights.
