MAYAN STONE HACHA
Of thin smooth section carved in the form of a stylized human head in profle, sporting a long tapering moustache, lips slightly parted, raised stippled area under the eyes, wearing a closely-ftted turban decorated with a foliate design, reminiscent of a quincunx motif, on each side; with red pigment highlighting the raised surfaces.
