ALMANACH ROYAL, common year MDCCLXXXX. Paris, Widow of Houry and Debure, 1790. In-8, red morocco, right lace, coat of arms, spine with 5 nerves fleurdelisé, inside roulette, blue lining and tabis guards, gilt edges (period binding).
694.
Very nice copy with unidentified arms. They are listed by Olivier (pl. 432), on a Royal Almanac at the same date. It is very likely that despite minor differences between the iron decorating our copy and the reproduction in Olivier's book, it is the same volume, these differences being due to the mechanical reproduction in Olivier's book.
The calendar has been interleaved with blank pages, probably to be able to note a timetable.
