One of very few artists' copies on "Japon nacré". - Besides the few unnumbered "Epreuves d'artiste" on Japan and vellum, the Atelier Rigal printed 125 copies on vellum, 90 on japon nacré and four on vellum. - In 1980 the plate was reworked with aquatint and used for colored prints. - One of Dali's most famous etchings. It is no coincidence that the coloured version adorns the cover of the catalogue raisonné of Ralf Michler and Lutz W. Löpsinger. - Impeccably preserved, can be purchased framed.
