150 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher TOUREILLES (Winegrower Tommy Jumelle, Autan terroir) Tasting
notes: Eye: pale yellow robe, brilliant, limpid. Nose: rather discreet on floral notes rather white flower. Palate: we have a nice attack with freshness where citrus notes of lemon are mixed with sweetness and spices giving the wine a nice balance. The finish is quite long on lemon notes with a hint of pepper.
Winegrower : Tommy Jumelle's parents bought the Domaine de la Noureille in Tourreilles in the 76's. The wine is a very good wine. At that time there was only a ruin and wasteland. By dint of work and patience, they restored the ruin and cleared a piece of land, then another until they had a small island of vines. In 2000, Tommy Jumelle settled on land close to the estate with 2.5 hectares. A land clearer at heart, he gained almost 40 ha on broom and stones. The vineyard is
fashioned, thought out and worked with passion and the optics of always more, always better. The efforts have paid off as one of its chardonnay parcels has been selected to represent the Clocher de Tourreilles.
