60 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher MISERICORDE Limoux (Winegrower Anne-Marie Porta, Autan terroir) Tasting
notes: Eye: pale yellow colour, brilliant, limpid. Nose: a good intensity, all in finesse, on a floral note (rosemary). Mouth: nice attack, fresh with sweetness where we find notes of candied lemon.
The finish is quite long on the freshness with a salty touch.
Winegrower: Anne-Marie Porta worked at Domaine de Luguel with her father-in-law and her husband Roger during the first years of their union. It was during this period that she discovered the profession of winegrower and developed a passion for the vines. However, Anne-Marie Porta is also passionate about another profession, that of childcare assistant in Limoux. In 2016, when her husband Roger retires, it is quite natural that she takes over the business. Situated on the famous gravelly plateaux typical of the Autan terroir, the estate now comprises 9 hectares of white wines. Respectful of her environment, Anne-Marie Porta follows in her husband's footsteps by following the precepts of sustainable management and working the soil under the vines. The Toques et Clochers plot is therefore worked with zero herbicides.
