Portico clock in white marble and ormolu with a patina formed by two pilasters in caryatid sheathing and surmounted by an eagle with two putti holding garlands of flowers. Rich ormolu decoration such as oak and laurel branches, necklaces of pearls and flowered vases and foliage scrolls. Rectangular base with a central projection adorned with a bas-relief of frieze and rosettes. White enamelled dial, black painted hour-markers, Arabic numerals for the hours, railroad for the minutes. Key-wound mechanical movement with wire suspension. Louis XVI period. Height: 58.5 cm - Width: 41 cm - Depth: 11 cm. Gilding and oxidation wears. Splinters and cracks in the marble. Some missing motifs and bezel. Some elements to be refixed, notably a scroll and a foot. A broken needle, but present.
