The text volume numbered 215, contains a portrait of Gustave Eiffel in frontispiece, many ill. in text and 253 fig. in-text. Reproductions of the signatures and autographs of the visitors are present on 2 double pl. and the Appendix (Notice sur les travaux de Eiffel et les principaux ouvrages exécutés par ses établissements de 1867 à 1890), are bound at the end of the vol.
Vol. de pl., numbered 66, contains 53 lithographed double pl. (some in colour), numbered I to XLVII, including 8 pl. bis, ter or quater (pl. XXVI and XXVII never appeared), 13 pl. in rotogravure (elevator, restaurants and platforms) and the special lithographed coloured map of the environs of Paris.
The book is out of print, torn from the cardboard, worn caps and corners, nerves in the spines rubbed, spines faded, pages folded, stitches, small tears.
This important work is a reference for Eiffel Tower enthusiasts.
