The zoomorphic title-cap made of gilt bronze, monogrammed FXL on its terrace and marked DAUM France with logo on the reverse, the crystal part monogrammed B. M. The body executed in blown clear crystal, engraved DAUM France and monogrammed B. M. M. The truncated-cone stopper display in clear crystal, engraved DAUM France and monogrammed B. M. M. Old edition proof, copy XIX/20, 1982. In its original DAUM box. Stopper only : 5,8 cm Total height: 39.5 cm Display: 4,7 cm JOINT: - Talon of the ticket of the drawing of lots n°09598, specifying the title, the artists, the number of copies for the drawing of lots of Saint-Vincent of January 22nd, 1983. - Letter from La Bergerie Baron Phillipe dated February 7, 1983, announcing the prize and specifying the number of copies. - Certificate of authenticity from the DAUM house, specifying the number of copy XIX out of 20. - Delivery slip with letterhead from La Baronnie formerly La Bergerie, dated 11 and 15 February 1983, with an insurance value of 1600 Fr. Historical information : The limited edition of only 20 copies of this creation by François-Xavier Lalanne and Daum France, insured by the company Baron Philippe de Rothschild (then called La Bergerie ), was most probably created on the personal initiative of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. These decanters were intended to honour the company's most loyal and, also, luckiest customers. In fact, following an order for wine, a drawing of lots known as Saint Vincent's Day (patron saint of winegrowers) was held. The catalogue referring to our model of decanter was published by the company Baron Philippe de
