Historical information : The limited edition of only 20 copies of this creation by François-Xavier Lalanne and Daum France, insured by the company Baron Philippe de Rothschild (then called La Bergerie ), was most probably created on the personal initiative of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. These decanters were intended to honour the company's most loyal and, also, luckiest customers. In fact, following an order for wine, a drawing of lots known as Saint Vincent's Day (patron saint of winegrowers) was held.
