Very fine silk HEREKE (Asia Minor, Turkey), circa 1965/70
Salmon-pink background decorated with an old gold, blue-grey, ivory and polylobed brick star medallion with flowery foliage. Old gold tarantula main border between four cherry and old gold counter-edges with small stylized flowers.

Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundations. Good general condition. Density: approx. 11/12000 knots per sq. dm2
