Exceptional, very important and very fine ISPAHAN (Iran), Early 20th century, imperial workshop of the Shah, high quality workmanship An oblong marine field with accolades, covered with concentric floral stems with scrolls, hosts a sublime ivory poly-lobed arrowhead cross, vegetalized and compartmentalized by four brick corolla. Four spandrels with ivory arabesques and turquoise ritual flowers covered with flowery foliage enrich the ensemble. The main ivory border is decorated with corollas of flowers blooming on stems and is flanked by six sky and brick counter-edges with garlands of flowers. Thus forming the seven steps leading to paradise. A collector's item and a great presence.
