period A magnificent cream, chestnut, ivory and purple moulded frame, over which runs a succession of polychrome compound bouquets, the corners of which are decorated with delicate country floral compositions, frames a rectangular field with a ruby-coloured border that supports a large circular ivory medallion surrounded by spring braids and adorned with a polychrome floral centre. The ensemble is flanked by angular multicoloured floral stems and leafy stems. A grand century style with a very beautiful presence.
