Exceptional, rare and fine silk HERIZ (northwestern Persia), circa 1870.

Various foliage and foliage branches enrich the decoration. Six floral garlanded counter-borders frame the main one with multicoloured flower corollas. The seven borders symbolize the seven steps leading to paradise.
