Important SARUK (Iran), early 20th century
A fuchsia field supports an inextricable sowing of polychrome compositions and floral vases, serving as a setting for a cruciform, polylobate, vegetalized medallion and its arrowed pendants. This magnificent corolla has scrolled petals and an emerald heart. The four spandrels have floral formations with ivory and pistachio arabesques. The main marine border has polychrome flower stems in majesty. It is flanked by four multicoloured floral counter-borders. Ivory highlights. Very beautiful floral ensemble.
