Technical characteristics : wool velvet of silky quality called : kork on foundations : warp, weft and cotton fringes Good condition.
An anthracite field welcomes a luxuriant vegetal decoration, "with the airs of mosaic". Ramages in convolutions, flowering rosettes, cruciform flowers, leaves and flowers form this inextricable "plant carpet". Six polychrome counter-borders frame the main fuchsia, all seven with multicoloured garlands of flowers. This is a very classy carpet.
