Tapestry panel from between two (more commonly known as a door), from the beginning of the 16th century, belonging to a series of hangings of at least 4 panels, with the object of the ""Grotesques"".
We present a panel reproducing a vase and green, yellow and blue aristoloches leaves on a red background. The beautiful border, made up of bouquets, fruits including pomegranates at the corners; two masks of fauns located vice-versa of the central vase and with seedlings of plants, flowers and foliage crenellated in the shape of chess pieces and stylized claws.
