GUITRY, Sasha. Manuscript A.S. to the collector Georges Foussier. Apocryphal date "January 1948". 1 p. in-folio. Layered paper.
After his case was dismissed, Guitry mocked the Attorney General's procrastination: "During the three years I have just lived, I have often thought that Mr. Attorney General must have said to those around him: 'Let's prolong, let's prolong as much as possible the 'affair' of the author of Jean de La Fontaine [Guitry wrote this comedy in 1916], to please Mr. Foussier, who collects with friendship, constancy and fervour all the newspaper articles that concern him! ". Georges Foussier, a collector and friend of Guitry's, spent his life collecting all the articles about Guitry.
