Thumbnail Oval painted on ivory, unsigned, depicting a woman in a bust, three-quarters to the left, wearing a blue dress embroidered with ermine and enhanced by lace. She is wearing a white lace bonnet held by a black lace mantilla, a symbol of domestic bliss, in the manner of Nattier's 1770 portrait of Queen Mary Leszczynska (National Museum in Warsaw). It is included in a 750-thousandths gold and 800-thousandths silver bracelet element decorated with two intertwined friezes on the edge set with Rhine stones (small lacks). It opens to let a ribbon pass through (missing). Good condition
