Autograph letter signed addressed to Joë BOUSQUET [S.l.], July 17, 1945, 3 pages in-4 in ink on pink paper.
Autograph letter signed to Joë Bousquet (1897-1950) about joint editorial projects. Bousquet had a beneficial influence on Hans
Bellmer. Bellmer met Joë Bousquet after his internment at Camp des Milles and later his requisition for compulsory labour in the South of France. In this precarious situation, Bousquet helped him to survive financially.
In this letter, Bellmer requests texts from Bousquet for: "a deluxe (i.e., expensive) publishing suite". Together, they will collaborate on various projects such as surrealist tracts, a publication around Baudelaire's Paradis Artificiels. In this missive, Bellmer mentions several projects including La Petite Anatomie de l'Image (Paris, 1957), La Poupée and the Hans Bellmer catalogue. Drawings 1935-1946 (Paris, 1947).
