BRONZE BUST WITH SOFT METAL INLAYS OF A CAMBODIAN APSARA / DANCER
Vietnam / Indochina, Probable work of the Bien Hoa School of Applied Arts, 20th century
Relatively heavy cast iron although hollow. Spike of the cap moulded separately. Brown patina coupled with an ornamentation work by inlaying polychrome soft metals, in this case lotus on the wings. Wooden base carved with cloudy volutes and the model (the uncoupled spade and its lacunar tip).
