Background lined with gold leaf. Each leaf has been marouflaged with a painted silk panel. The pictorial line theme is that of the "One Hundred Couriers" or the "One Hundred Horses" showing horses in a landscape of mountains, rivers and pines.

Note: A subject probably freely inspired by the famous scroll painted by Giuseppe CASTIGLIONE / LANG SHINING and kept in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
