Officer's sword of hussars Louis XVI-Revolution. Copper filigree handle. Gilded brass frame. Pommel in helmet. One-branch hilt and two mumps in baguette. Curved blade, (pricks at the tip, shortened), engraved on one side "The Law, The King" (the King crossed out by guillochage but visible) and, on the other side, "for the Nation", flat-backed, against edge and gutter. Wooden scabbard covered with basane with two large brass fittings decorated with lines and a leather puncture, with two reinforcing rods and two rings for hanging. Used B.E. Louis XVI-Revolution period.
