Green silk candle screen, protected by a silver metal tube bearing the arms of the Queen of England and the mention of the "Days Patent Birmingham" patent. B. Day, a manufacturer located in Snow Hill, Birmingham, is best known for its fireplace screens. He was a supplier to Her Majesty the Queen of England ("Appointed manufacturer to Her Majesty").
