OMEGA Lot n° 45

OMEGA (Seamaster 120 Deluxe Diver / Date dite Jacques Mayol ref. 396.0900), circa 1981 Mythical steel diver's watch, adopted at the time by freedivers Jacques Mayol (it was worn by Jacques Mayol when he beat his own record for freediving at 101m off the coast of Elba Island in 1981). Brushed steel barrel-shaped case with overflow crown, graduated bi-directional bezel in epoxy (with a slight crack at 10 o'clock) and flat clip-on case back (signed and numbered, decorated with the Seamaster logo). Black dial with large central second hand, date window at 3 o'clock, applied indexes and luminescent spatula hands. Omega steel bracelet integrated into the original folding clasp case (1382-381).
