The double-edged, slightly curved blade in wootz-Damascus with several fullers on both sides and a slightly reinforced point. An ornamental, finely engraved silver mounting on both sides of the root. Solid ivory handle with a continuous, fully sculptured depiction of Turks swinging their sabres, in pursuit of a Bedouin. The wooden scabbard covered in embroidered velvet, both sides of the silver locket and chape with finely engraved decorative tendrils. Some damage to the velvet cover. Length 45 cm.
