The oversized ladle made of wrought iron with a ring mounted on the end. The long handle with punched ornamentation and geometric brass inlays on the front. The inscription carved on the back reads: "Amel-i El-Hac Hüseyin Sahib Osman Aga Sene 1108 Tevekkel ala Allah" (From the hands of Haci Hüseyin – property of Osman Aga - year 1108 (= 1696) trust in Allah). Length 75 cm.
In the 18th-century "Yeniceri Agalari List", an entry for 1702 includes Osman Aga (nicknamed Arnaut) as a Janissary Aga and subsequently as a Wesir. He died in 1706.
A rare object from the period of the Turkish Wars.
