Philippe d'Orléans (1674-1723), the Regent, attributed to. Precious and important knife set. Made of wood covered with red morocco, on a stand, decorated with friezes and fleur-de-lys. Round lid stamped "P" under a royal crown and surmounted by a fleurdelysé motif. It contains twelve knives with handles covered with tortoiseshell, silver ferrules. Blades struck with a crescent under crown, one struck " LYUN " or " LYON " (two broken blades). Ht : 28 cm. Diam : 9,5 cm. A.B.E. (Wear and tear to the foot). 18th century.
