In-8, marbled basane, double gilt fillet in frame, smooth decorated back, inside lace, gilt head (contemporary Rel.). Charming illustration engraved after Eisen in the first edition: 2 figures, 2 head vignettes and 2 butts. An ex-libris armorié engraved by Eisen added on the back cover. A copy with the arms of the Marquise de Pompadour. Title and last page dusty, stained. Freckles and stains. Guards renewed, one guard and one figure detached. Binding rubbed, one jaw cracked.
