This engraving is part of the "Album Fenaille" or "Album Goupil", which is a book dedicated to the drawings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. There are many drawings related to Dante's Inferno
usually referred to as "black drawings".
A copy of this precious album can be found in the archives of the Musée Rodin.
