Circular headdress composed of braided fibres and hair covered with red vegetable pigment.
These discs, isicholos, are used as wedding gifts. The husband offers an isicholo to his wife, who has sacrificed her hair. This large hat is worn as a beret, bent over the nape of the neck. The hair is supposed to be the bride's, it is woven with herbs and then coated with red ochre.
