China, early 20th century. Carved ivory representing a fisherman holding a fish in his right hand and a fishing rod in his left hand. H29cm (Accident with the rod). Pre-convention ivory specimen. In accordance with EC regulation 338-97 art.2.w.mc of 9 December 1996. Specimen prior to 1 June 1947. Submitted according to the decree of 4 May 2017 to a prior declaration "are authorised, subject to the prior declaration provided for in Article L412-1 of the Environment Code".
