"I began working on the perception of freedom several years ago, initially focusing on the idea of a continuous process (and not on the feeling of freedom that defines a state at a given moment T). This visual project sought in particular to oppose those who were actually experiencing the event and its violence, to those who were attending it off-line several thousand kilometres away and in great comfort. To establish these parallels, I worked with great war reporters (Patrick Chauvel, Camille Lepage...) or immersed myself in their written, oral and photographic reports (Rémi Ochlik, Olivier Voisin, Margaux Berguey, Dimitris Michalakis, Alkis Konstantinidis...) to confront the reality of these two worlds. Parallel to painting, I develop many objects of migration, which are in the continuity of my work. They are presented in different forms: diversion of existing objects, recontextualization of mineral water labels, creation of board games, personal experiences to be carried out...
