Born on July 8, 1982 in Dieppe, Charlotte Coquen lives in Rouen and works in Rouen and Paris.
"Through a protean work, I question the identity claims to which the individual can claim. I question bodies, social relationships, hierarchization and filiation. In fact, I use the banal, clichés, individual or collective mythologies, as well as societal codes or history. I juggle with mediums and techniques to materialize my intentions and show tragi-comic life sequences. My pieces, often reliquaries, bear the trace of the body. "
