MARIA WITH THE CHILD Oil on wood. Parquet flooring. 69 x 41,5 cm. In a gilded frame with early Renaissance décor. The mother in three-quarter figure, depicted sitting slightly to the right, with the child on her lap, whose body and foot she holds with both hands. The group against the background of a mountainous landscape with a tree cut to the left. On the right side a group of houses can be seen in the landscape. The mother is looking at the child with her head lowered, who in turn is looking out of the painting to the right in an agitated physiognomy, which refers to a representation of the cross that was once in the room to the right of the painting.
