WITCH SCENE Oil on canvas. 49 x 66 cm. In a gilded baroque frame. Scenery depicted in nightly darkness, with old witches and accompanying figures with fire torches, brooms and bones grouped around a kindled fire, from which a pole rises in the middle, on which vulture birds are impaled. On the ground are several skulls, bones, documents with occult inscriptions and a dead bird. Provenance: Private collection Naples.
