The Sea Cemetery, poem. Paris, Émile Paul frères, 1920. In-8 square, 1 f. white, 8 ff.n.ch. and 1 f. white: bradel back of olive morocco, polished Plexiglas dishes, fat and lean fillets in frame, golden head, untrimmed, cover and back (Mercher). Original edition of one of the author's most famous poems. Edition at 556 copies, this one unjustified on strong paper. Very elegant binding by Henri Mercher; the Plexiglas plates were mounted according to a process invented by the bookbinder.
